At Akron, I play a role in the oversight of process technology and ensuring that material generated in PD is produced comparably in MFG with the highest level of safety and control. The Akron team is aware of our importance in industry. Everyone contributes in various ways and collaborate very well working towards the same common goal. We are a unique biotech company capable of attacking any problem and using creative ideas and technical support to find various solutions.

Majority of my days at Akron are spent either in the lab executing experiments or analyzing data generated from our experiments. I specifically enjoy performing and optimizing purifications on the chromatography equipment. My favorite part of the Akron team is our sense of community. We are a smaller team that collaborates daily both inter and interdepartmentally. We are comprised of hardworking individuals who take pride in our work. Everyone will go the extra mile to ensure quality work is achieved in a timely manner. Every day that we walk through the door at Akron, we are powering the future of medicine. Biotechnology is an evolving industry that is able to improve patients’ lives and outcomes in ways that were not possible previously. It will be exciting to see where the industry is in the next few years and Akron’s contributions.
